    msvfw32.dll Missing

Hello, I am using windows xp operating system which is having service pack 2. I have not got any type of error from the last install, but now suddenly I am getting the error as "msvfw32.dll missing" and wanted to solve this error. I want to know how to remove this error by fixing it. Can it required to install the whole operating system again. If there would be any solution which can prevent the reinstallation of Windows xp then give me that solution.

I think the problem you are getting of msvfw32.dll Missing is due to the corrupt file. You can solve this error by using the System File Checker application.

    • Go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:
      Code:
      sfc /scannow
    • This will activate the Windows File Protection service which will search for the all protected files and verify their integrity. If it find any problem regarding any file then it simply replace that file.
    • You need to insert the Windows xp Cd while using the steps above in the CD/DVD drive.

A required component is missing: msvfw32.dll. Please install [APPLICATION] again." Can anyone tell me why this error is getting by me. Whenever I try to uninstall that particular application it gives me error and after clicking on Ok uninstaller stops by its own. Is there any solution to come out of this situation.
