    Hi,

I recommend you to use the "recyclebin_icon.reg", for overcome this problem. See below:
    • First you need to download the "recyclebin_icon.reg".
    • Then you need to save this file on the desktop.
    • Then you you need to run the "recyclebin_icon.reg" , and for this double click on it.
    • Don't forget to click on "Yes" when it will ask confirmation

    Hello,

I am telling you definitely this problem is occurring because of the virus. Recently I had same problem of the while refreshing the recycle bean. If you want to get rid over this issue , yo need to use antivirus application for this. Scan your computer for virus, then again recheck if recycle bin is still having same problem or it's refreshing successfully. It's my own experience, let see if this solution is working on your system or not.

    Hi friend,

It seems that you had set same icon for both empty recycle bean and for full recycle bean bin. You need to use different icon for both. For this you need adjust the recycle bi setting using personalize property. When yo open the personalize property window for recycle bean. Then go for change the icon for recycle bean. Then first select empty recycle bean , and apply any icon for this. After this you need to choose the icon for the full recycle bean. After doing this property setting. Please restart your system.

Re: Windows XP causing problem while refreshing the recycle bean

    Hello friends,

Thanks to all who helped me to sort out the recycle bin refreshing problem!!!
As you suggested me to adjust the recycle bin property, I made the same setting for the recycle bin property. I have assigned two different icon for empty recycle and full recycle bin icon. And then applied this setting for recycle bin and restarted my system. Now the the recycle bin of my windows XP get refreshed properly. I have also installed antivirus application to prevent the virus infection.
