    Windows 7 kernel error

Hi, friends I am trying to install windows 7 on my computer and getting the problem while installing it. When I am installing the windows it automatically re-boots and then gives me error of :

    \windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    0xc00000e9
Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt.

I have configuration of my computer as per the requirement of the Windows 7. So, what is the reason for this error. Can anyone help me. Please reply me as I want to install Windows 7 on my computer as possible as early.

Hi, I think the error your are getting is due to the problem in your hard disk drive and due to which it is giving you the error of your hard disk as the error of
\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe is comming as it is not getting this particular file and it is giving you error. So, just check that your hard drive is working well or not. I think this is why you are getting this error.

So, just make sure that all the parts of your system are working properly. So, that it may possible that you can identify any faulty part from your computer and you will able to solve your problem. Re: Windows 7 kernel error

Hi, the 0xc000000e9 error is an unexpected IO error - and it can be cause by the download or the burning process. But as you are getting the error with \windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe and also it is mentioning that the Windows failed to load because the kernel is missing, or corrupt. So, you just need to install the operating system again. So, just install Windows 7 again on your computer and then check whether the same error is getting by you. I think after new installation you don't get this error. So, reinstall the Windows 7 and try again.
