Backup fails in windows 7 with error code "0x81000019"

Hi

I am one of the user of the windows 7 operating system. But I am getting troubles from the installation of the windows 7.

I am getting errors when I try to take backup . The error message saying that "Shadow copy could not be created" and "Please check SPP & VSS event logs" with the error code "0x81000019".

Can anybody help to overcome this?

Hi ,

Usually you will get 0x81000019 error code only when you are trying to take back-up of the hidden partition.

It seems that the software that you have used for the backup-utility of windows7 can't work along with the hidden system-partition.

Please make sure that the partition for which you want to take back up is not hidden.

I first created a back-up successfully without any interruption and since I get the same message: Backup Failed with error code 0x81000019
for detailed info I see the newspaper become systemic but I don't know how to find it?

Hi,

Before few month I had gone through similar type of the error of the windows 7 i.e "0x81000019".

But at that time I solved it by simple trick. While taking back up I deselected the "create driver image checkbox" option available. I suggest you to do same thing which I did.

Please try this and let me know if it is helpful for you or not.
