What is NVDA? What is use of it?
I have Dell laptop and Windows XP installed in it. I want to know about NVDA. I know it is for blind people but I don't know how its work. I have younger brother who is blind. Can I use this for my brother? If you have any information, please give me.

It supports over 20 language and ability to run entirely from a USB drive with no installation. You can use this for your brother. It is specially design for blind people.

NVDA allows the user to access and interact with all parts of the Windows operating system, such as-
1 Suffering the internet using IE.
2 Reading and writing documents with Notepad or wordpad.
3 Sending and receiving email.
4 Using command-line programs in Dos windows.
5 Producing basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
It will help for blind people to access computer without any problem.

NVDA software can be downloaded from internet. It is screen reader that will work on most Windows system computers. The software uses the voices which is available in computer or you can download from internet. GNU General Public License users made changes in a software. It works with 11 languages. You can work on Notepad, Office software, Microsoft Word and Excel using NVDA.
