SpeedFan is a program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and temperatures. Another option is on smart motherboards to track system and CPU core temperatures, voltages and cooling fans. SpeedFan can display SMART data and includes a tool for resetting motherboard clocks. It control computers with hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T.

Win7 is very protective of the system tray. SpeedFan 4.38 support windows 7 this especially for those who want to keep an eye on temperatures and fan speeds. SpeedFan supports SCSI disks too. SpeedFan can even change the FSB on some hardware (but this should be considered a bonus feature).

SpeedFan 4.38 beta 10 now supports Windows 7, It can change fan speeds as per the pc temperature and it also decrease noise level of your computer. The program's system-tray icon tells you the temperature of your PC's hard drive, and you can receive information on voltage and fan speeds. It adds full support for Intel QST, AMCC/3WARE raid controllers, more Analog Devices chips, more VIA and nVidia SMBuses and Intel i7 core temperatures.
