what I found that, the DLL you mention does not exist. The closest match is SCNDLL.DLL. Based on previous experience with Plustek Drivers, it is possible that the file must be renamed. Copy the file named SCNDLL.DLL in C: \ scanner and then rename SCANAPI.DLL. Restart and see how you're going.

It sounds like you have a scanner software or antivirus software may be corrupted. You may want to reinstall the antivirus software to be sure. Otherwise, look in the Program Files folder for that file and find the problem program. If you do not need to uninstall or reinstall it.

To use this file do the following:
    1. Scanapi.dll Remove from your hard drive. He should be in the "Scanner".
    2. Unzip the file you just downloaded, scanapi.exe, typing the file name of a command line or double-clicking on the icon of the. This should produce a scanapi.dll another and this Read Me, scanapi.txt.
    3. Scanapi.dll Copy the new file in the "Scanner".
    4. Restart your computer.
