7-zip problem on mac

i have installed 7-zip my mac with snow leopard but i dont like its ratio of compression i have observed that while working on multiple files that its compression is less so any one have observe that ?? any other high compression option ..

7-zip works great just check its setting for highest compression there is option for that else try winrar that has option to control quality of compression like highest ,solid archive check for that

The Unarchiver is an excellent alternative to the archive manager for Mac OS.The software supports more formats than its cousin (ZIP, Tar-GZip, Tar-BZip2, RAR, 7-ZIP, etc..) And supports file names in most characters. Moreover its installation is very simple just copy it to your Applications folder and then select the types .
