blush Windows 7 two hours shutdown issue

    Hi,
Does anyone is familiar with Windows 7 time bomb. Recently I came across a article that Microsoft has put a time bomb in Windows 7 Beta Version. According to it after particular date in 2010 the the operating system will shutdown after every 2 hours. This will make the beta users to upgrade to the full version. I did not find this a issue but if this is right then the future users will be affected. Does Microsoft has released any update to stop this. Any suggestions will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes you are right about that. It was in various articles on internet that Windows 7 beta has a tickling time bomb in it. This time bomb will make the beta version unstable. The time is set to end up in March 2010. But still there is not much information available here. There is relevant update and patch available right now. So to avoid this it is better that you must upgrade to license copy of Windows 7.

The beta version of Windows 7 actually has a particular amount of Trial period. There is not much information available for the exact trial period. When the period expires it make Windows 7 to shutdown after every two hours. Many third party websites offers patches and breakthrough applications for this. So you can use them when actually your operating system keeps on closing. The hourly shutdown will came into affect at the end of trial period. The same thing is available in Windows 7 RC also.

The bi hourly shutdown was assumed to be started in July 2009 for the Windows 7 beta version. This is actually the period of software expiration so you will need to renew it. And that means buying a license copy. Now the RC version has time till march 2010. After that it will be useless. Microsoft has assigned a expiration period for the operating system. So better take regular backup of your data. It is possible that Microsoft will release a update for this. But for that you will have to wait.
