    Re: krnl386.exe Error message

If you work with Novell NetWare connectivity under Windows for Workgroups, it is possible that you may receive one of the following messages: Enough memory to run KRNL386.EXE
These errors can occur if you manually delete Novell Netware managers in the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT instead do it from the control panel. If you remove the drivers Novell Netware files CONFIG.SYS AUTOEXEC.BAT, the NIC will fail in its bonds (BIND) because PROTOCOL.INI file is still configured to connect Novell Netware.

To correctly remove CONNECTION Novell NetWare

    1. Run the Control Panel
    2. Select the Network icon
    3. Select the Network
    4. Select Novell NetWare from the list of networks used.
    5. Select the Delete button
    6. Commit the changes by choosing the OK button.

    Re: krnl386.exe Error message

This error can occur if any of the files KRNL286.EXE, KRNL386.EXE, GDI.EXE, USER.EXE or WIN386.EXE is in the directory Windows. These files mandatorily should be in the subdirectory Windows system. If you want the messaget to disappears, you just have to move this or these files in the subdirectory SYSTEM.
