    Re: device eth1 has different mac address than expected

    In the eth0 file i see these :

    Code:
    DEVICE=eth0
    ONBOOT=yes
    BOOTPROTO=static
    IPADDR=10.0.0.119
    MTU=1500
    and in eth1 i see this :

    Code:
    DEVICE=eth1
    ONBOOT=yes
    BOOTPROTO=static
    IPADDR=192.168.10.119
    MTU=1500
    What may be the issue? Please help, Also i just did a kernal update. Could that affect my ethernet settings to change? Thanks!

    Ok the problem may be due to the kernel updates, You kernel may have changed some conf files and the changed files may cause this. Specially when modules.conf is changed. Go to this file and see if their aliased have not interchanged or not erased...
