mediawiki blank screen problem on ubuntu

I have a problem with my mediawiki software on ubuntu. I installed it and everything went well, now when i start mediawiki all i get is a blank screen. Can anyone help me with it? I'm not sure how it works, Just wanted to try it out.. Please provide any information on mediawiki if available... Thanks.

Is there anything that is displayed? Some kind of error or similar stuff? Well do you have all the dependency cleared? All the shared components installed? Do post back, these questions may help...

Untill now nothing was show, so i decided to wait for sometime and see if anything shows up, After sometime this error shows up :

PHP Fatal error: Class ‘DOMDocument’ not found in /path/to/wiki/includes/Preprocessor_DOM.php on line 566, referer: http://path/to/wiki/config/index.php

Whats the problem? Can anyone help me?

Try to install php-xml by typing the following code in console :

sudo apt-get install php-xml

And Once these packages are installed restart the http deamon :

/etc/init.d/httpd restart

Then see what happens...
