You can accomplish that by right clicking the start button, choose explorer. it will open windows explorer and point to the start menu folder, open that up and you'll see programs. open that up and you'll see start up. put anyprogram you would like to automatically start up in that folder.

You can get windows explorer and put the progrms .exe to the startup folder .You can find the startup folder is in C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup. just give a copy of the programs .EXE .Like if it were notpad.exe you wanted to start you would go to c:\windows ,and drag and drop a copy of notepat.exe to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Launch your MSCONFIG from the start menu and mark the programs you want running or right click on the programs icon down by the clock and most have options you can check so as not to start when booting computer .
