How to open .sit files in Ubuntu

My friend has given me some games to play them in my free time. Yesterday when I tried to open those, I found that they are of type .sit. So I tried to look for some software to open this kind of file on internet but didn't find anything. Can you help me open .sit files on my computer running Ubuntu?

To extract the file:

tar -zxvf Stuffit*.tar.gz

copy stuff and unstuff in the bin/ directory to the /usr/bin/ directory

Finally to extract the .sit file:

unstuff file.sit
