How to know mapped drive's password in vista

Hello,

Whenever I reboot my computer I get the icon saying a connection to a network drive couldn't be made. When the user who joins the domain logs on types their username and password at the logon prompt, they are immediately asked to change the password. This is the only vista machine in my network. How do I know mapped drive's password in vista.

If the mapped drive is asking for the password :

1. Right click Computer and choose 'Manage'
2. Then click on Shared Folders
3. Double click Shares
4. Find the share that you are accessing, right click and choose Properties
5. The check Share Permissions tab and the security tab to ensure that users have full control access.

The another way is to :

1. Go to start,
2. Click on run
3. Type

4. %windir%\system32\rundll32.exe netplwiz.dll,UsersRunDll

5. Click on advanced tab, then ' manage passwords ' and click ADD
6. Then map drive to share it.

If it doesnt say then it has not been changed, then try mapping a SMB share from the PCH to your Vista PC and then one from your Vista PC to the PCH. If they both have the same userid and password NMT/1234 then as long as you have checked the 'remember' password options it should be fine. The code assumes that the drive letters it is going to map are not already in use.
