Re: System is dangerously low in resources

To determine whether the Excel.xlb file is at fault, first start Excel 2000 in Safe mode. Safe mode bypasses the Excel toolbar file, any startup or shutdown macros that you may have configured, and any files in the XLStart folder. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Run.
Click Browse, and then navigate to Excel.exe in the following location:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office
In the Open box, add a /s switch to the end of the file path, as follows:
    "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Excel.exe" /s
    Click OK.

System Resources is a part of memory which is cover by operating system. every time you open any application operating system loads visual components like buttons, check box and many other option which makes OS more friendly to user. These visual components are stored in System Resources. The amount of memory is not depend on the visual components or multiple windows open by user.
