    Re: l3codecx.ax error

To solve the problem download l3codecx.exe. Save this file into your c:\windows\system32 folder then go to Start -> Run and copy and paste this line: regsvr32.exe l3codecx.acm. l3codecx.ax is a L3CODECX.AX\r belonging to MPEG Layer. Click OK to message that says the file was registered successfully. Again go to Start, click on run and copy and paste this line: regsvr32.exe l3codecx.ax. Click OK to message that says the file was registered successfully. Then try to run that file.

    Re: l3codecx.ax error

The missing file l3codecx.ax is file which comes with standard Windows. This file is missing because it may be deleted by user.Goto C: \ Windows \ System32 \ l3codeca.acm and rename the file to l3codeca.bak. Then open WMP and go to Help>> Check for Updates. This will re-download the decoder and place a new copy on your system. It should be registered and ready to go at this point, but you can also run regsvr32.exe l3codeca.acm again just be sure. That command registers the ACM decoder with Windows, many "Codec Packs" will screw up your ACM Registration, running the command should set it right again.
