I am using windows vista on my computer. I can create shortcut to Cookies folder on my desktop in windows xp so when i visit any site i can able to see which are different site are putting cookies on my computer and delete them if I wanted to. I want to do this same in windows vista. Where can I find the Cookies folder in Windows Vista? Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Click Start type cookies and press ENTER. windows vista will redirect you to your Cookies folder, located at C:\Users\user logon\cookies. Except that the Cookies folder isn't there. What is there is a pointer that tells Vista where the real cookies folder can be found. Since Vista doesn't believe you should be privy to this information, it tells you it's not accessible.

Click on the “Start” button then select your “User” name to get into the user group. Select “View” tab and make Show hidden files and folders disable. You will see the “AppData” folder in user window. Select “Roaming then Microsoft then Windows” and your cookies folder should be right at the top, click on it.
