    IE8 Bug in Vista

I installed IE 8 onto my Vista machine. The problem is when i try to connect with IE 8 it gives me an error "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage". Is this error related with Ie or any connection problem with my machine. When i connect with another browser like opera, safari it didn't gives any problem. Does anyone have a fix for this problem.

Run the Network Diagnostics tool in Internet Explorer
To do this, follow these steps : Start Internet Explorer, and then try to access the Web page that is displaying the error message.
    • On the page that displays an Internet Explorer error message, click the Diagnose Connection Problems link. The Network Diagnostics tool will run. When the tool has finished running, it will report one of the following results: It was unable to find a problem.
    • It has detected a problem. Additionally, the tool will provide guidance about the next steps to take to troubleshoot the problem.

Try to disable add-ons through Manage Add-ons. IE error issues are mostly solved by managing Add-ons. With Internet Explorer opened, go to Tools, Internet Options, under the General tab click Delete temporary files, history, cookies, saved passwords, and web form information.
