Recover Lost Folders

I recently installed windows vista on my system. I had copy all my data to my new os. I dont know how i lost my folder which was loacted in c drive.How can i get that folder made or back with the 5 or 8 files that were there.Any help will be extremely appreciated.

If the file is accidentally deleted then click on the recycle bin in windows to see the file is still there.A Windows computer tracks the location of files on a disk using a "Master File Table", MFT (or in older Operating Systems it is the "File Allocation Table", FAT) located at the start of the disk.
