Can create folders but cannot rename them

Hello all here.
I have a little problem I can not rename folders in my computer. I can create new folders but when I try to rename them, it is that they are fixed. I can go into them.
Can someone kindly soul here may help me?

Right-click the folder, select properties. Tick the "Write Protected". Then select go.

Tested and tried clicking in and out of it and so on. But the same result. It can not be renamed.

You would need to supply some more information, including whether or not you logged in as an Administrator, how you responded to the UAC prompt if it appeared, the folder you are trying to rename, and, the exact error message you received.

Do you have content in the folder that is in use perhaps?

I created new folders usually it was pretty empty. Tested on a lot of folders but does not work for any on the entire c:\ which is where everything is.
