Vista does not boot anymore - MBR broken?

    Good day,

Unfortunately I have not read the solution for my problem.

    I use:
    Vista ultimate 64-bit
    EVGA MB
    Seagate 1 TB Sata disk

Yesterday hung on Windows, after I wanted to burn a CD. I could only by Vista Power Button to leave. Later, the disillusionment, the OS no longer runs high.
Meanwhile, I was able to errors on the disk by Sata. This is from the bios no longer recognized. Start doing it, sharing of cable and test the other ports were unsuccessful.
The repair function of Windows Vista I can not use because I get quite a quick blue screen with the message:
a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    ...
    ...
    ...
    Technical Information:
    *** stop: 0x000000d1 (0x000::::
    *** FFFFF nvstor.sys Address ..........

Had anyone any hint for me please?
    Thank you very much.

    hi,

Users, the 1.5-TByte plate along with many other drives in large RAID systems use also complain increasingly about failures. This is due, according to the manufacturer but no defective hardware or firmware problems, but the sensitivity of the plates against vibration.

The defect occurs in the above drives abruptly and without warning one. It typically manifests itself by the hard drive while the computer start normally starts, but is no longer responsive. Seagate emphasizes that in the event of failure, no data loss risk. The user can simply no longer on the stored data

In some Internet forums are currently piling up the complaints about failures in 1-TB Hard Drives by Seagate from the Barracuda 7200.11 series. Purchaser of the 4-wheel model ST31000340AS report that the plates after about three to four months suddenly and without warning - that is neither flashy nor noise SMART warnings (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) - acknowledge the service. The drives would still start correctly, but are no longer responsive.

To Repair or Fix a broken Vista MBR:

To Restore Vista MBR, please use the following simple solution.

    1. Start your computer from the Windows Vista Installation DVD
    2. Press a key when prompted to continue
    3. Choose your language, time, keyboard and click Next:
    4. Next, click "Repair your Computer":
    5. Now, from the System Recovery Options dialog, select the "Operating System" you want to repair, then click Next:
    6. From the "Choose a Recovery Tool" dialog menu, select "Command Prompt":
    7. Type the following into the "Command Prompt Window":
      Code:
      bootrec.exe /fixmbr
      bootrec.exe /fixboot
    8. Remove the Vista Installation DVD and restart your PC.
    9. If all goes well, this process should have enabled you to restore your Vista MBR and you should now be able to boot back into your Windows Vista Operating system.
