Do i have to delete these SQM files from my system or do i have to keep it as it is on my system? Does any body knows about SQM? Kindly let me know what is SQM and what benefit do i have by keeping it on my system? Any kind of information on it would be appreciated.

    Thanks a lot.

SQM files are created at times in WLMail's Message Store, but they are necessary and only temporary, so nothing to worry about as far as I am concerned.

Its from live messenger shared folder service. You can turn off the shared folders if you don't use that feature from the messenger options.

These are generated by the SHARED FOLDER service of live messenger, go to live messenger and disable the shared folder options. And then turn off the Messenger sharing service USN journal that you will find among the services doing the first only works too, but don't just turn off the service without doing the setting I said in live messenger to find the services go to START--> Run--> and type services.msc and press enter, right click on the service and select stop--> and then disable it.

Usually this is a registered application type for SQM files as “Operation Flashpoint Mission”. But in your case I suspect that you are Using Windows Vista with Live Messenger, these are some kind of a log files which MS people use to gather information on their beta versions. Don’t worry, you can remove them safely by deleting.
