How Can i install themes in Ubuntu

Hey guys!
I am using Ubuntu linux for quite a long time...! I was wondering if there is any theme support for ubuntu... I have seen people using theme. Which Theme manager is supported in Ubuntu? Is there any theme manager by default in ubuntu 8.10? Need a change...!

Hey!
Yeah, Ubuntu has Emerald Theme Manager for switching to a different theme...! You can download themes from the net and then import it to Emerald Theme Manager to apply it to your ubuntu...! All the best...!

I have a problem with Emerald or i guess i don't know how to use it...! I can import themes to emerald but cannot use it...! Is there any way or configure the Emerald theme manager so that i can use it properly...! Help guys!

Hey there!
I guess you missed one step...! Add "emerald --replace" in widow decorations section in compiz-congif-manager... That should fix your problem...! If this doesn't work, post back...! All the best...!
