I know there are already discussions on this subject but please have look at my problem.
I have an HP laptop of 2 months. The problem is that I can't find F11 it does not work anymore and I always come back on message BOOTMGR missing press CTRL + ALT to restart ... how can I do? thank you very much

You should use the Windows XP cd to partition and format your hard drive if you want to install XP. or if still facing problem then, If you have a floppy drive, download Seatools for DOS and do a low level format, then try to boot from the cd.

Just hold any key down during bootup it should automatically get you to the setup screen .Originally Posted by Swaraj
