    HP System Restore Problem

    Hello,
Here I have a hp pc whose motherboard was not working so I changed. After a reboot I can delete the C: partition the hard drive (the D is still intact with information restoration hp). Restore disks have not been done!
Now I can not access the menu by F10 restoration Hp. Is there a way to directly by the D partition?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

    Hi,

The backup must be done before not after formatting!

There is a thing that can be both, without any guarantee!

    For this you need:

    1) An internal hard drive blank (no score). "Dir vat on that I give him a name foo"

    2) the HP utility (on the cd that you do not, but you will find on the net )

    3) to install on blank hard drive without the hard drive that you keep the partition is connected .

    4) a fact that you have a new system is ready, you stop and then you connect your hard disk with the element a restore and there you go!

I think your partition D: \ on your hard disk contains just your image C: \ and not the software allowing you to restore your hard drive ...

This requires that you test to find the HP restoration software (you call they will send the CD's if you are polite and courteous ... I have already done it.

If your partition D: \ contains the restoration software, make sure to have given a motherboard similar to the former (if the chipset is different, unable to restore your partition with the image ...)

Personal I would like this ...
    • Button next to your laptop, you have a Windows license ...
    • You boot with a Windows CD, and you follow the install by entering the license that is below your PC.
    • Once the Windows installation is complete, you can type "HP Support" in Google and you download the drivers you need for your machine
