Windows Vista recognized as counterfeit software

    Hello to you,
As I said, "I am in the presence of counterfeit software" but everything I will explain you in detail to you so that you can understand that problem and you can help me to overcome it:
A few months ago, I formated my PC by giving it to a computer vendor because I had a big problem with viruses.
He secuder the pc by removing all viruses on my PC and installed a bunch of software more or less useful. I installed the full version of Vista instead of xp I had before. But for some time I think my PC no longer recognizes vista and a message appears telling me regularly as what I am in the presence of counterfeit software and told me to activate windows and when I click on the link it asks me to buy the vista version. So is there a way to either recover vista or retrieve another version? Thank you

Backup your data and reinstall your version of xp.
And for Vista do you have a label with the key on your Windows machine?

Counterfeit software means a type of software piracy that occurs when fake copies of software are produced in such a way that they appear to be authentic. Counterfeit software would include the illegal copying and distribution of commercial software on CD or DVD along with any accompanying manuals that the original legitimate software was sold with. Counterfeit software is commonly produced using a CD burner to copy the software and photocopies are made of the manual. Counterfeit software is usually sold at prices well below that of the retail price of the legitimate software. You may have to buy the original version of Windows to avoid such messages.

Your Windows installation has failed WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) validation at Microsoft and has been flagged as "possibly" counterfeit. There are lots of problems with WGA and it can highlight what are perfectly valid copies of XP. However you should have a label on your PC or on the packaging of your CD that gives you the code to prove your version of XP is not pirated. If you don't have a code Microsoft will sort it out for a small charge

You may have to contact MS according to..

You may be a victim of software counterfeiting. The Windows product key installed on this computer is not genuine.
The product key is a unique identifier assigned by Microsoft only to genuine Windows software. If this key is missing or incorrect, it may indicate the presence of counterfeit software and your system may be at risk.

The Windows product key installed on this computer is a Volume License Key (VLK) that has been blocked. A VLK is typically licensed to organizations that want to use multiple copies of Windows. However, if a VLK is reported as stolen or leaked, it is blocked from passing validation and is not considered genuine.

If you received a computer with a VLK, and you do not have a Volume License Agreement with Microsoft, you may be a victim of software counterfeiting. If this has happened to you, learn how to get genuine below.
If you do have a Volume License Agreement with Microsoft, you believe you are using the appropriate VLK assigned to your organization, and your VLK has not been reported as stolen or lost, contact your system administrator, Large Account Reseller (LAR), or Enterprise Software Advisor (ESA) to report the problem.
