    Solution for Error code 39

    Hello,

I am using Windows Xp. My problem is that the device manager said to me by exclamation points in yellow there is a malfunction with 2 devices (camera and scanner) that I can actually do more work. Since few other exclamation points appeared next to the audio controller, video and game controllers, and hence more sound. When I attempt to reinstall the drivers, the download is interrupted by the message (code 39). Deleting the registry values "LowerFilters and UpperFilters" nothing has changed. Should reformat? I need a solution for Error code 39

Thank you for your valuable advice.

    Hi,

As you have an onboard sound card? If so, it is likely that the driver is the chipset of your motherboard or in the cabbage and in fact, the USB drivers and all the rest is a little loose.

Reinstall the driver for your motherboard chipset and then re-tries to reinstall the other drivers, it may be a solution.

I think actually already equipped with an onboard sound card. I suppose I must first uninstall the devices that are in the structure of the audio controller, then reinstall the other drivers, is this right ??

Re: Solution for Error code 39

    Hi,

    Here the solution:

Go to Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter, then Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    SYSTEM
    CurrentControlSet
    Control
    Class
    {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.
    UpperFilters
    LowerFilters
    UpperFilters.bak
    LowerFilters.bak

If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete, after deleting the keys, close the Registry Editor and reboot your computer
