I have to install linux (fedora8) on a server IBM xSeries 232, Model No. 8668. Problem: impossible to know how to boot on the CD-ROM (which works well).
If someone has an idea, the BIOS of this machine is not easy to understand.

A little research on google helped me find this.

Setup and Installation CD will not start.
- Ensure that the system is a supported server model with a startable (bootable) CD-ROM drive.
- If the startup (boot) sequence settings have been altered, be sure that the CD-ROM is first in the startup sequence.
- If more than one CD-ROM drive is installed, be sure that only one drive is set as the primary
- drive. Start the CD from the primary driv
