    Vista Virtual Machine

    hi,
I have a problem I am trying to run the vista virtual machine through the VMware Player. When Im trying to enter the username and password to log on into the vista an error occurs stating that "there are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request"

    Any ideas??

    tnx beforehand

If this is within a domain environment are you sure you are using a machine configured to use only the correct DNS servers that are able to support the domain? Is DNS configured correctly on the host and the server? Can you do an NSLOOKUP against the domain for a DC?

Are you on a single machine or in a domain? If under domain, there can be many causes related to the server. But if a single machine, i would wonder how it is that an OS in VMware is looking for servers !!
