SanDisk Ultra II vs Kingston SSDNow V300

I was searching for powerful SSD for my system and was going to order the Kingston SSDNow V300 240gb drive. But after some more research I found out that the Sandisk Ultra II is even more powerful than the kingston ssd? The only major difference is that Kingston SSD is costing me $75 where else the SanDisk SSD is at $100. So can anyone tell me if it would be worth spending the extra dollars on the SanDisk SSD drive? Thanks for any help.

If you will actually consider buying the Samsung 840 Evo then it will be worth the model which also comes at the $100 mark. The Samsung SSD are considered as a premium model compared to any other SSDs in the market. You can get the SanDisk Ultra II if you would want but it usually trades are lower even though it can match up the Samsung Evo 840. As for Kingston SSDNow V300, they are much slower compared to the rest discussed.

Re: SanDisk Ultra II vs Kingston SSDNow V300

I was using an old laptop which was very slow. I read few articles on the internet that replacing an old mechanical hard drive with a SSD will increase the performance of a computer to a greater extent. So, I put in the Samsung 840 Evo SSD and after that my laptop started booting up in seconds instead of taking longer minutes. All the software in my pc also started to opening faster and everything was more responsive. I dont know about other SSD that you have mentioned but the Samsung Evo 840 is definitely a worth upgrade.
