Before painting my room HT that had seen a demonstration of some rooms of distributor who was great, but guinea fowl in very strong colors - as deep red/the Burgundy etc surprised to Me that this change would be the color balance/or perception whatever the correct technical term is. So I ended up using a gray similar to the basic one in this forum for my room. Since then I have seen the green light, blue brilliants…. Therefore, my questions are: - not to make a wall of color unlike the projected image, and if it makes the color they must use?

personally I believe that the colors would be brilliant. The dark red color is a color for a theater and I have often seen in this forum. The ceiling of dark color based on how the sounds are very good also. The greater problem usually is that the colors are too much the light, that could bring about a reflection outside the screen doing that the image washes a little. Some worry for that reason more than others and only you can decide what balance between the appearance and the yield that needs. what i reccomend about home theaters is to have low light inviroment and dark colors like gray... i dont need to say anything about 5.1 but cables should be hidden... furniture should be conford and LCD should be on the eye level from all ferniture so your guest can watch withough having to move all the times to see the colors... but thats just my own opinion...
