I have a old Belkin F5D7130 AP. Its just a small stand alone AP. I was relocating it to my basement. I was going to have it sit on my refrigerator. My washer just so happens to sit across from it. Well, I am reading the manual and I come across something where the AP should not be not near either. Check this link out. Go to page 9 of 36

I am like what the !@#$ ???

Could either of these devices cause the AP not to function? I have heard of microwaves, but these two things?? Can any one offer some clues as to why Belkin is saying this?
