I am not able to install ESET smart security in Toshiba laptop.

Hi guys I’m using Toshiba laptop with window XP professionals. I’m trying to install ESET smart security version 4 but during installation it shows that F secure interfere with ESET smart security. I followed the steps to uninstall F secure and delete the folder also but one folder I cannot delete. Folder was Shaw. Whenever I try to delete folder I get a message “access denied”. I have already tried to uninstalling the tool but I could not do that. Can anyone help me so that I can fix this problem?

To remove f secure I am giving you few step just follow it.Press start button and then go in control panel. Click on add and remove program after that find F secure in list and remove it. I would suggest you that reinstall F secure and repair it. After that again uninstall then try to delete folder. I hope it will work.

If you want to remove folder you should delete registry key from your laptop or machine. If you are certain that you have removed complete files and directory containing F secure software try to search window system registry for key. Export a copy for safe keeping, delete it and then try to install.

If you want to install this smart security I would suggest you that please install in safe mode. In safe mode it will install. Before installing delete folder which you had said folder name i.e. Shaw folder from c drive. Still you are not able to install security please contact to ESET technical support if you have license copy. If you are using trial version they might not help you.
