SEP 12.1 RU1 Scanning Performance is same as that of SEP 11.x

I was using SEP 11.x previously but then now I have recently switched to SEP 12.1 RU1 and I have found that there is not improvement in the scanning performance of the 12.1 RU1 as compared to the 11.x, I thought that with SEP 12.1 RU1 the scanning performance will be increasing. Is there anyone who has faced the same or the problem is just in my machine.

I have been using the same but then I really found that the Scanning Performance of the 12.1 RU1 is better as compared to the SEP 11.x, anyways I just wanted to know if you are having VM machine?? If not then just check out if the insight/SIC is enabled or not.

I think that you might be lucky with the same , anyways I am not having virtual machine and I have also enabled the Insight with default configuration as well but then I still don’t think that it is giving me better performance.

I think that you should better check out settings for the scan in AV policy and just check it out for how many hours is it configured, just check it out and then let me know for further help.

I have checked it out and I have found that by default duration scan is set for 2 hours and I have not modified anything yet, you can just check out the below image:
