Why is my laptop slow?

I have no viruses, malware, spyware or anything, completely clean.
I still have at least 200GB left of HDD space.
I have 4GB RAM.
An Intel dual core 2.9GHz processor.
I have recently defragmented.

But it still takes a long time to load things up, and youtube can buffer really slow despite my internet speed being fibre optic 20MB broadband.
Its like my computer is clogged up when it shouldnt be.

Any ideas or help?

Well, what type of applications are installed in your laptop? How much drive space is there in the windows foldeR? Which operating system have you installed in your pc? Click on start and then in run type msconfig and remove all unnecessary startup applications and see if that speeds up your laptop or not.
