My TrendMicro Housecall showing error with Hijackthis Log

Hey guys I recently visited my cousin house and I found his computer was not working properly it was way too slow freezing and even crashing. I knew his computer was attacked by the various virus and malware . I was able to get not of it and few were unreachable so I downloaded Housecall and when I tried to run it its gives error and was not opening I think it was some internal error that may occur while opening the application . I Google the solution but each time it was not helping me showing some site but off no use I wonder what wrong with it any suggestion

May be the malware is the cause of this what happening with House call I never came across such kind of problem but I think I may help you install malwarebytes an anti malware this will block access to a potential malicious web site with diffirent IP addresses and get another application Hijack This V 2.0.0.4 that examine your computers browser and operating system setting to produce a log file of the present position of your computer. Delete any suspicious looking entry and restart you pc see if this works . I think this should be work

Do everything that you can do and tell if that works for you for a long time. We should always get antivirus and anti malware for the pc to avoid this kind of situation after affecting Its very hard to recover the computer back in the normal state it will never solve the problem completely. I would suggest you should completely format your C drive and start it over again but make this option for the last in situation probably don’t want to do this but this will guarantee the positive result .i hope you solve your problem without solving without formatting your computer

Don’t know this is the best idea of formatting you C drive there must be lot of programs that is you may required but you don’t have the setup files for the same there are lot of connection setting and program setting that will not be recovered it’s very easy to format but the difficulty to recover back the program and event if you take the backup there are no guarantee the it will work properly so I will suggest not to format rather you should find the other ways to get your pc fine. I think it might be rootkits problem to me you can definitely find solution for it

Hey guys I am also having problem I am struggling to downloading Housecall when its reach 64% its stooped and gives me error I tried all steps and measure but was not able to solve the problem it’s just I am not able to complete my download and its was suggesting me ensure my internet connection I even try to install previous version of housecall but even that also not working in my pc. I am not able to find anything on this problem I don’t know at to do dose anyone else have this problem please suggest me solution. Thank you …

May be you should check is you computer is infected by virus sometime this behavior is caused by virus as it affect the pc . you might be getting pop up that will shows whether your pc is infected or not it might be showing some error message . try downloading other file which is not for housecall site to check if its happen only while downloading Housecall or any other file . try using other web browser to find whether its web browser is working properly or not this all factor some time cause this problem . solve that first rest solve automatically
