    Should I update NIS 2011 to 18.6

I just newly got the product update to NIS 2011, edition 18.6.0.29. I got part of the update through mechanical live update and after that I occurred to have run live update and I obtained the remaining of the update which did say a restart was essential. Up to now, no troubles, but just installed it. What you all say, its fine na? As I stated in my title, Should I update NIS 2011 to 18.6? Please let me know, if anyone have any idea or any suggestion for this.

I think I just obtained it too. I ran live update and at present it's asking for a reboot. But this system is running NAV 2011 and as it doesn't have the browser toolbar and I am utilizing Firefox 3.6, I will reboot a bit later. I didn't have it while I checked recently, 5 minutes later than an auto update but running a physical brought down 28.81MB of updates as well as an engine update necessitating restart.

I just installed on a desktop and laptop, both Windows 7 x64. Later than installing the update and rebooting I attempted to unlock the settings and the program not working. I wouldn't have thought much of it if it hadn't occurred on both PCs. One more reboots and they both look to be fine. This was in the Windows Application log: The program ccSvcHst.exe edition 10.1.1.16 congested interacting with Windows and was stopped up. To notice if additional information regarding the trouble is obtainable, check the trouble history in the Action Center control panel.

I got the twice whammy this evening while we returned from supper. While I sat down at my Vista 64 machine, Windows Update notified me that there was a significant update downloaded and prepared to install. It so occurs that this significant update was internet explorer 9. I allow it install and reboot. Much to my shock later than the reboot there was a Norton symbol on the desktop, and I not at all keep any icons on my desktop. Anyhow, I checked and sure sufficient, NIS had as well updated at the similar time as Internet Explorer.

Up to now I have just observed single bug. When checking out internet explorer 9 it occurred to get to the point where I had, I suppose, 6 tabs unlock at the similar time. Upon opening the sixth tab the Norton Toolbar copied itself. There was another Norton toolbar just under the usual location. Closing the sixth tab prepared the copy toolbar go away. Reopening the tab prepared it come back. At the time this was totally reproducible. I am going to ensure it once more later, later than one more restart and observe if the trouble remains.

All I attempted to perform was to click on Settings and it froze up. It not at all opened up to any part so I couldn't ensure any part. As I couldn't do anything with the program then, I broken the task with Task Manager. It would not unlock another time while I attempted the desktop symbol or from All Programs. So I rebooted yet again and it looks to be ok as then. Later than I rebooted another time, I was capable to check the settings lacking any additional troubles.

My edition of NIS11 is English. It's the OEM edition which came preinstalled on my HP laptop. Just for your information, a mass of the OEM versions in fact arrive loaded with many language versions of NIS. So when you may have your edition put to English (generally depends on OS local settings) it may at a standstill contain the additional languages. Lots of the OEM's act like this so that they don't have to pre installed dissimilar products to each dissimilar language they sell in.
