Need to know more about Norton Mobile Security Renewal and Expiration behavior

Hello everyone, I have got information on Norton mobile security which I am writing here. When you install Norton mobile application, you will have to activate the product, when you have an active subscription, you will not able to renew as it is the beta version. Once the license gives the notification of expiry after that only you will be allowed to renew the product, it will add 32 day more to the license. So this was from Norton tech support team. If you have any doubt or any more info then please reply to this post, Thank you!

Hello I have also talked with the tech support of Norton. I also have some additional information on this, as I was having some doubts related to application. They told me that if you have installed the application and you are unable install activate the product then Norton is not responsible for that. And in addition they told me that suppose if your license is expiring tomorrow then you will not have to wait for tomorrow, you can increase the license period by uninstalling and reinstalling the Norton mobile security. Thank you.

Hello friends, I am not able to understand the behavior of Norton mobile security. When I talked with them they gave me different answer. I am using Norton mobile security 1.5 which is a different from other, they told me that Norton mobile security 1.5 will automatically renew license automatically and also it will update to 2.0 version. After updating the renewal behaviors will be the same. So that’s quite good news for the user of 1.5 version, Thank you!

Hello friends, I have an alternative solution for the renewal of Norton mobile security. I am using HTC desire which is running with android 2.2 and I have got an idea to renew the product. Follow the below steps:
    • Go to <Menu> then <Setting>after that go to <application> and sellect <Manage Application>
    • Under manage Application Screen click on Norton Security..
    • On the Application Info screen hit clear data button.
    • Click on home button, run Norton Mobile Security from program list..
Screen will appear with activation code displayed for us to activate
After that activate it, now your product is active and renewed.

Hey guys, I am completely agreed with above steps but I wanted to add some more information on it. I am using Sony Ericsson with android 2.2, but this is not working for me, I have followed all the steps properly, I thing this utility is only for HTC users. I think there must be some way in Ericson to activate and renew the product. We will meet you soon with proper solution about the product. All the Best and thanks you!
