How much storage should be allocated for the replication

I want to reserve some space from the hard disk memory for the replication. I know all concepts about the replication and how can but I don’t know how to calculate the space for the replication. How much minimum space is required for the replication? Anybody has knowledge if I have 100GB capacity of memory the how much space will reserved for the replication, so I request you to all please reply me soon

According to me the total space is reserved for the replication is 20 percent of the total capacity of memory for example if an application uses ten 10GB devices. A pointer based replica so the application is required. The replica will be kept 24 hours. The data changes by 20% every 24 hour. How much storage should be allocated for the replication the answer is 20GB. In this way we calculate the space for the replica.

The process of creating and managing duplicate version of database is called as the replication. Replication not only copies a database but also synchronizes a set of replication .if we are making a change in one replica then is totally reflected to the other replica. The main advantage of the replica is it allows the many user to work with their own local copy of the database but have the database updated as if they were working on a single, centralized database.

Re: How much storage should be allocated for the replication

The Replication is the server process of copying data modifications from one location to another. The main characteristics of replication which make it appealing following are:
1-The unit of replication is a transaction, but not just an individual sequel (SQL) statement.
2-Replicated transactions are applied in the same order as they occurred on the primary side.
3-The replication system is able to detect whether a network connection is temporarily offline and when the component is available again. When a disruption like this occurs, the replication process should continue functioning without having to be adjusted.
