Flash Disinfector not working

I utilize Flash Disinfector (FD), since more than 2 years on several computers. Right now I'm demanding to install Flash Disinfector (FD) in the HP laptop in the company of windows Vista 32 bits. I downloaded Flash Disinfector (FD), in good condition (install on other machines or virtual machine - Virtual Box - too) When you double-click System to display pop Flash_Disinfector.exe advise connecting USB drive, and kill processes with taskbar. After a few seconds explorer.exe if all goes well, should appear again and finish - Made popup be supposed to appear. (In the background autorun.inf hidden folder is produced on top of the root disk) This sequence takes place during usual mode - where every operations acceptable - however here are not as good sad.gif. Please help me.

Hi I am facing same problem. When you double click my cursor change Flash_Disinfector.exe the ring icon (the system is "thinking" mode) and displays pop-up anything. When I looked deeper inside with Process Explorer and saw pv.exe nircmd.exe sub processes started, but disappeared after 2-3 seconds. Nothing happens, no popup, the message does not autoruns.inf folder in C: \ Even NOD32 disabled at the time of installation - nothing, then uninstall - nothing itself.

Hello according to my knowledge and occurrence you have to delete the MountPoints2 registry key which is specified within the similar alert which you getting. According to my opinion this problem occurs because of this registry key. Check it and then do what I am suggesting to you. I am sure this will help you to solve your query. Hello in my opinion it’s happen because of version issue. Which version you are using? Try to use most up to date version of FD. For that you have to Download Flash Disinfector and then save it to your Desktop or in any folder. Following downloading, you have to double-click on Flash Disinfector to start the setup. And then you will get some prompts just follow the prompts and carry on until it start scanning. If it asked you to insert your flash drive or whichever detachable device together with USB Pen Drive and Memory Stick, so perform that in addition. After completing this it will scan detachable drives; and then stay for the scan to conclude.

Hello thank you for this nice explanation. I think you are correct it was a version issue. I think I was using old version as per your instruction I download the most up to date version of FD. And I scan my system through it, and it’s working very well. But I still confused what exactly malware does with our registry keys. Can someone please tell me something about this malware functions. I search it on Google but didn’t get any information. Please share your knowledge with us thank you.

Many of the tools we use are marked as malware when they are not. This is due to their abilities and what they do, creating files, deleting files, make registry changes, etc. so basically act as malware, and that is what the malware does not. These false detections were based on heuristic or behavior. The anti-malware program cannot tell the difference between friends and enemies in these cases.
