Privacy level in combination of HTTPS and anonymiser proxy.

To browse anonymously I am using combination of proxy servers kproxy with https. I like to know if my Internet service provider or any intruder can intercept in my network to view my requests / response. well i know that SSL is used for server identification and encryption. But my question is, is this the case for sometimes or every time it is used only to identify the server and not for encryption? please help me guys,

Well dude yes the intruder or anybody who wants to attack on your system can intercept the requests and responses both the URL which you are trying to access or the request/response content, but the intruder cannot read them because they are encrypted. So half security is there but main thing they won’t be able to read the content as its encrypted by https.

It will happen sometime or every time it depends on number of factors. As a SSL certificate have attributes like key usage which will give “Signing” and “key Encipherment”, and server identification is can be checked by comparing the URL against the CN in the subject attribute. well there are two ways by which the attacker get to know that what you are doing on your system. First one is Trojan on your system and second is logs on anonymous proxy.

Thanks dude for the detailed explanation. Well after reading your post i think an anonymiser without the SSL won’t be able to help the user in privacy or anonymity. And I am not able to understand the use of the anonymiser if it doesn’t give any privacy or anonymity to a user without SSL, then what is the use of anonymiser website without the SSL. I have read about the wireshrak so can i use that if browser is encrypted for the current SSL session or not?

frankly speaking there is hardly any use of anonymiser without the SSL for example you can say that you are robbing one bank with gloves but without the balaclava. And yes you can use wireshark, tcpdump but you can see that in Firefox that what key size and encryption algorithm is used. Well everyone needs some privacy but you won’t be able to get it completely, as some peoples can use all these for illegal things.
