Here I will tell you how I installed the Printer and make it to work wireless. I installed the Printer as a USB hub printer without connecting it to the laptop. Once I have finished the installation I found that the setup is also installed the Canon Network Port that is required for wireless connection and because of this I am able to connect the printer to that port. While installing the printer in Network, Software was unable to find the printer and process was cancelled. Any How I don’t know how Printer got connected to Notebook with a USB hub. If one know exact process please tell me.

Re: Devices connected on wireless unreachable

Hello friend, I am having a network printer that are directly connected to Ethernet cable to a Netbook, But when I ping the printer. I am unable to pin, means I am not reachable. The light on the Ethernet device is glow green, and there is no other cable-connected to the network .Just a simple cable connected netbook and Ethernet device and a printer. Ping activity works fine when I put the cable into a different system and ping from there, so is this a cable or IP address problem. Anyone having same issue please tells me.

When you are not able to reach host usually it is mis-configuration of address, or there is a hardware issue. I will suggest you to check the netbook address very carefully. If there are no issue of address, try to ping the address of printer using netbook. If you can’t ping and you are sure that your address is correct, There may be problem of cable you should try a different cable. If you are connecting the netbook directly to the printer, you use a crossover cable.

If nothing work at all, follow the basic troubleshooting steps. Using your netbook: Ping localhost this will IP is working correctly. If this is successful then ping IP that you are given in your laptop. It may like 192.168.0.1. If this is successful, then it means your adapter is working perfectly. Now it is time to check Ethernet cable, interface and connection to all device you are trying to communicate. I think this may help you to solve your problem. If any other issue. Let me know. I will try my best to give the solution.
