Canon image uploader and Canon Eos Utility

I have downloaded the trial version for Kaspersky, and thought to purchase that subsequent to the 30 days were over. I installed that to my computer yesterday and tried to transfer the images from my canon camera by means of Canon EOS utility. That works very fine without any problem. But today when I tried to do the same then I was not able to upload the images. Normally the EOS utility is supposed to begin when I turn on my camera. I consider that all these things are happening just because of the Kaspersky that I installed. But I am not very sure about this. Now I am thinking to uninstall the Kaspersky completely for my computer but I want to give it one more try and so I am posting that over here. Can you tell me any suggestion which can be helpful to me to solve the problem.

I think that the antivirus which you are using is scanning the internal hard drive of your computer and that is the reason that nit is interfering the processing of the EOS utility and that is not able to work properly. So if you want to get out of the issue then you can see in the settings of that and look if there is any option that can be used to disable the internal hard drive scan. If that is there then disable and save the changes. I don’t know the exact thing that you need to change but if you go through the settings then I am sure that you will find that easily.

What have you installed exactly? Is it Kaspersky Internet Security otherwise Kaspersky antivirus. If you have installed the it Kaspersky Internet Security then I would like to tell you that it Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 is the latest from the Kaspersky. You should search and install that in your computer, if you are having any other version of if installed in your case. I am also using the Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and that is not creating any problem with any of the other application installed in my computer. So my suggestion to you is to switch to Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 and I am sure that you will not get any of the issues like this.

It may be possible that the EOS utility that you are trying to use may be corrupted and that is the reason that lit is showing such problem. If you want to check that then you will just have to uninstall that from your computer. Once you uninstalled that then reboot the computer and again install that on your computer. This will create all the new files for EOS and can solve the problem as well. This is the best way that I can suggest you. You should give it a try first before trying to do anything else on that. If the problem is with the EOS utility itself then this will definitely solves the issue.

It is possible that the problem is with the installed antivirus in your system. It may be blocking the processing of the EOS utility and so it is not able to load the images. So you should install that once again in your computer and see if that is working for you. Before installing that, you will have to uninstall the existing one from your computer. If you want to do the safe installation of then you can go to the safe mode and then install the antivirus from there. See if that is able to solve the issue for you or not. If all these things are due to bad installation of this then reinstalling will definitely solve the issue for you.
