Bitdefender 2011 interrupts while download

The problem that I am going to describe at the bellow I think this is occurring for the Bitdefender antivirus 2011 tool. Now the problem is whenever tried to download and large file into my windows vista compatible Acer aspire notebook, it breaks the download before it finishes, and after that I am not able to resume the download. I tried by downloading utilities or accelerators, but nothing start the download after stopping. Though I am not having any such idea regarding this type of problem and also I am not a technical savvy, so what should id o now to overcome from this problem? Any suggestion about this will be helpful for me greatly.

Yes you may right, this problem might be occurring for the bitdefender tool, because I had similar issue, I was not able to download any file, whether this is a large or a small. So after that I simply remove that antivirus tool from my system. But I would like to suggest you to try first by disabling all the services of your bitdefender and then trying to do this, if still you are having the issue, then remove the tool and installed another one. Along with this also recommend you to check the firewall setting, make sure that the download permission is enabling in firewall. Go through this, I hope there you will surely figure out any solution or information.

I think regarding this problem I have a solution for this, and suggest you to go through this, it will might be help you to resolve the issue. First of all release the internet cable from your system or disable the wifi router. Open My Computer and then browse “C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2011”, bitdefenbder installation folder. Under that fielder double click on supporttool.exe file, now right lick on supporttool application file and chose run as admin option. Select NEXT button and wait till the progress bar completers the process, and then click on finish. Now switch to desktop screen, a bitdefender support toll file will create over there, move it into a location according to your choice. Connect your internet and upload or send the file into bitdefender web site.

As per my knowledge I would like to suggest you to disable the "Scan web (http) traffic" from bitdefender application window, open the window and proceed to Expert View and then Antivirus module >> Custom Level. Now see whether the problem is still occurring or not. If this happening still now then opens Expert View from bitdefender application window and then click on Update module, look for the option Automatic Update is enabled, uncheck this one, and reboot your system in safe mode. Browse the bitdefender installed folder or path from your installed drive, and look for a .dll file which is with the name httproxy.dll, right click on it and rename this one. Restart the system in normal mode and now try to download the file or contently which you tried earlier.
