Hey I have SonicWall TZ190. I have on issue regarding this SonicWall TZ190. I want to add the secondary wan IP address to a main WAN interface on a SonicWall TZ190? Does anybody make out the process to put in a secondary public IP address to a major WAN interface on a SonicWall TZ190?I am utilizing PPoE which is merely utilizing an only public IP address. So please help me out .any information will be appreciated.

You have to be alert with adding a second IP on a 2nd WAN interface while the second IP is on the similar subnet as the primary IP. I do not recognize anything regarding the Sonicwalls however I am certain it is like Cisco where you be able to insert secondary addresses onto an only interface. This is the route I would go. For Cisco routers, if I keep in mind properly, the command is ip address [ip address] [mask] secondary. For the firewalls, you would now set up a NAT rule which would after that adds the secondary IP to the outside interface.

Sonicwall TZ190 has as well as OPT port. Then you have to plug up your 2nd WAN connection into this hole as well as configure it to be the 2nd wan IP. There be supposed to be a wizard on the SonicWall for a public facing server or something like that. Just configure that with the secondary public IP as well as point it whatsoever static interior address you would like as well as setup the firewall rules.

I have a client that has SonicWall TZ 180 previously configured by means of 1 static IP address on their network. I am in the procedure of installing a latest VOIP phone system as well as have an EdgeMarc Device for QOS. I require recognizing how to configure the SonicWall with a 2nd static IP address that merely points to the EdgeMarc device. For example, i would like to be capable to type in the second static IP as well as get to the EdgeMarc Interface.
