    How to Revive a dead DSL-502T

    I wanted to know how can we revive a dead router. It seems that my router is dead from some days and it is not responding anything. Its been just two months for the connections and I have ended up damaging my router. I cannot predict the reason from which my router got dead. I have tried looking for solutions in the various websites and in none of the websites I could not find any appropriate solutions. So if you are having any ideas or views regarding this matter then do let me know as soon as possible.

    Well there can be several cases from which your router may have gone dead. The most common cases of them all is when you are communicating with the router and you closed the window that was having the configuration of the router. So this might lead to the router getting corrupted. In such cases a firmware upgrade is always advisable. So do try with this solution and let me know if the update of your firmware for the router helps you or not.

    Well let me explain you all the steps In detail regarding this matter.
    1) First you have to download the necessary update of the router that will be available in various websites of that particular router.
    2) Turn all the traffic on in the settings of the firewall and also connect the lan card to the router.
    3) Run the particular update in the system. during that you will get a corrupted image mode screen, you will have to click on that.
    4) After that you will be assigned with the necessary instructions regarding this matter. One thing that you have to keep in mind is that you will have to set the ip address of the router to all the system as well as in the tcp/ip configuration.
    5) After having done with that your firmware will get updated. Then try switching on the router this might definitely help.

    Well if you are facing problems with the router than the easiest of the options is to get your router replaced by the nearest dealer. If you are using the rented router that is being provided by the mtnl people then you might get it replaced. One of my friends had the same problem he also got it replaced by the same method. The problem of the dead router can occur when there is no proper update of the router’s firmware or if there is some problem during the update.
