Windows7 Offline Files Sync carries on to reports "used by another process" errors

I have a 4TB NAS (Network Attached Storage) drive on my home network that has folders Sync'd to through C-drive for offline utilize. While online as well as associated to the NAS, I surely appreciate that Windows 7 will report occupied/open files as Sync errors. Though, once I save the files as well as close them, the lock is supposed to be released. Up till now following "Sync All" process still reports them as "The process cannot access the file since it is being utilized by another process." I factually have to power cut my system as well as reboot to obtain my Sync the entire to complete without errors. Is there a command or procedure I am able to run that will wash out the prior Sync error list or teach Windows 7 to seem more intimately at the files true locking position?

You might be receiving the error, “The process is not able to get the file since it is being utilized by another procedure” since Opportunistic locking is not enabled. You may allow the similar from registry editor. To allow opportunistic locking from registry editor you have to first of all go to start in addition to type regedit.exe in the search field. After that you have to choose regedit.exe from the list. Then you have to Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters.After that you have to alter the value of the REG_DWORD EnableOplocks from 0 to 1. Then you have to Reboot your PC as well as redo your offline files synchronization.

I would advise you both to do clean boot on your PC. Before attempting to do clean boot you have to disconnect your internet connection. Beginning your PC by utilizing a minimal set of drivers as well as startup programs so that you are able to find out whether a background program is interfering by means of your game or program. This type of startup is called as a "Clean boot".

To return your PC to a usual startup mode you have to press Start in the Start Search box. After that you have to Type msconfig, as well as after that you have to press ENTER. If you are encouraged for an administrator password or for verification, then you have to type the password, or give verification. On the common tab, you have to press Normal Startup then load the entire device drivers as well as services, plus after that press OK. While you are encouraged, press Restart.
