Wireless connection falls down on windows 7 in sleep mode

I am working on windows 7 operating system and that too from last few months. Now the thing here is that I have also established the wireless connection for the same. I am facing an unusual problem whenever my system goes in sleep mode then the wireless connection automatically terminates. I don’t know why this is happening and also don’t know the possible solution that will help me to solve the issue. Actually once the system goes in sleep mode then the whole wireless connection gets down and after that if I have to reconnect the same then the only option remains in front of me is to restart the system and then start the connection.

I guess I have a way that will help you to solve the issue that you are facing so what you have to do in this case is just disable the IP Helper service. And doing the same only will help you to resolve the issue. And to disable the same you have to follow the below mentioned steps:
    • First of all hold the windows key and then you have to press R
    • This will open the run windows in front of you, now what you have to do here is that just type "services.msc" in the box and then press enter.
    • Then you will get the IP Helper services where you have to right click on the same and select properties
    • In properties window you will find the box that will show "Automatic" or "Manual" set this to disabled and then click on apply.
    • After that you have to just click on stop to stop the services
    • And at last click on OK to exit the window.

I have gone through your problem and it seems to me that I can help you out in this case. So what you have to do here to solve the problem is disable the IPV6 that is nothing but internet protocol version 6. I am sure that disabling the internet protocol version 6 will definitely help you to fix the issue that you are getting now. And to do the same you have to just click on start and then in the search box you have to type regedit in it and then press enter. And then just click on the regedit.exe. After that you will find the registry editor in that you have to select the following sub key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters\ . No w at last you have to just double click on the Disabled Components and verify the one which are disabled. I am sure that this will help you to solve the error which you are facing.

Re: Wireless connection falls down on windows 7 in sleep mode

Well if you will ask me then I will suggest you to just stop the system from going in sleep mode. I mean to say that if the system is going in sleep mode and then only the connection is terminating then I will suggest you to disable the system from going in sleep mode then all the time the connection will be active. But keep one thing in mind that if you will disable this then the system will consume lot of energy so make sure that you are disabling the sleep mode for only specific period of time and that too the period when you are accessing the internet.
