    Norton Internet Security 2011 and Outlook 2010 Runtime error

    Since setup NIS 2011 Retail, at any time I begin Outlook 2010 and open an email I obtain the error:
    Custom UI Runtime Error in Norton AntiSpam Outlook Plug-in. The call to GetCustomUI () for RibbonID "Microsoft.Outlook.Mail.Read" unsuccessful

    I did run the Norton Internet Security 2011 beta from the opening of the testing but the system was reinstated to the earlier beta state and every Norton software was detached totally earlier than installing NIS 2011. I will uninstall Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 beta and observe if the trouble still exists and post the outcome. Later than I click OK the whole thing works excellent and the trouble still exists later than eliminating the Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 beta.

    No Beta version for me. Microsoft Windows 7 Pro, Office 2010 retail, fresh improve to NIS 2011 through "Check New Release." I establish a way to shut it off. As other have said, if you turn off AntiSpam, you obtain even extra irritating messages on Outlook startup. But if you turn it ON, after that open Outlook, afterward turn OFF the Norton toolbar, you receive no error messages. To turn it OFF, right click on a range of places up top until you observe "Customize the ribbon," choose that, after that unchecks Norton on the right.

    Based on the information I got from a consumer with this trouble who contacted our technical support I know that as a minimum in that customer case our plug-in unsuccessful to read a few resources from the disk. I am interested to get additional information to appreciate the reasons of that breakdown. If you contain "Custom UI Runtime Error" in the Norton AntiSpam plug-in, could you please provide the below information:
    1. Do you utilize any software which might crash hard drive access?
    2. Have you ever customized any safety permissions for the "Program Files", "Users or All Users" folders or any of the associate folders?
    3. Do you contain User Account Control facilitated?
    4. Do you have a bitlocker facilitated?
